Before you create your business podcast, identify your audience
- Americans between the ages of 24-40?
- Golf enthusiasts over 25?
- Book-loving men over 45?
- Electrical engineers?
- Emerging business leaders?
Be as specific as possible, because once you identify your target audience, you need to research it.
Seek listeners on social media and online forums and figure out what matters to them. If your audience is niche (e.g., women who run marathons), you can even seek them out in person and talk with them at the next marathon you’re able to attend.
The better you define your target audience’s persona, the better you’ll be able to customize your show to ensure you're creating what they want to hear (and share!).
